Stagecoach West Scotland has announced that they are the official Transport Partner for the ‘Starry Nights’ illuminated experience, held at Dean Castle Country Park in Kilmarnock this month.
The Christmas-themed experience, running from 13-23 December, includes stunning festive lights, lasers and captivating festive sound installations, as well as carol performances, a Festive Food Village, and a Festive Funfair to entertain friends and family alike.
The historic Dean Castle will provide the backdrop for the stunning installations, with the building’s front and back elevations lit up for the festive event.
Stagecoach West Scotland is offering discounted ‘Starry Nights DayRider’ and ‘Starry Nights Group DayRider’ bus tickets for the event which will be available to purchase exclusively on the Stagecoach Bus App, from December 13 until December 23.

All Stagecoach West Scotland bus services into Kilmarnock will take festival goers within walking distance of the event.
Kilmarnock Bus Station is a 10-minute walk to Dean Castle or travellers can use services: 4, X76 and X77 (selected times only, see X77 timetable for more details) which all stop at Beansburn.
Service 5 stops at South Dean Road and Kennedy Drive – which is a short 5-minute walk to the park.
‘DayRider’ and ‘Group DayRider’ tickets give unlimited travel for one day: customers can buy the ticket in the morning using the App and hop on and off as many times as they like on the chosen day, on the lead-up to the event, within their chosen travel zone.
Ticket prices for Mid Ayrshire area are £4 for ‘Starry Nights DayRider’ and £11 for ‘Starry Nights Group DayRider’.
From the Ayrshire area it will cost £6 for ‘Starry Nights DayRider’ and £16 for ‘Starry Nights Group DayRider’.
West Scotland Connect area will cost £13 for ‘Starry Nights DayRider’ and £33 for ‘Starry Nights Group DayRider’.
Local residents can also follow the Starry Nights’ social media channels for the chance to win 1 x family ticket and 2 Grotto Experience tickets.
Santa’s Grotto Experience is set within the Santa Land part of the Starry Nights event.
