Youngsters will enjoy a sweet treat at an upcoming festive event thanks to the kindness of a Lanarkshire group.
XACT – Airdrie & Coatbridge 41 Club members, with support from Morrisons in Airdrie, collected more than 150 selection boxes to deliver for Craigneuk and Petersburn Residents’ Association children’s Christmas party.
The organisation, who are in the midst of their latest Santa Tour, is keen to bring as much festive spirit to Monklands as possible.
Sharon Craig, of Craigneuk and Petersburn Residents’ Association, said: “XACT – Airdrie & Coatbridge 41 Club continually support us for the children’s Christmas party each year.
“We’d like to once again thank them, and Morrisons Airdrie, for yet another wonderful donation; the kids will enjoy tucking into the chocolates and sweets.”
Iain Jamieson, XACT – Airdrie & Coatbridge 41 Club chair Iain Jamieson added: “We are delighted to continually help our local community and present more than 150 selection boxes for the Christmas party.
“We are also extremely pleased to continue the return of our Santa Tour; please check out our Facebook page for more information.”
