Police officers called to a disturbance in Larkhall found cocaine and cannabis worth £9500 in a house.
Andrew Everett, 34, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court this week. He admitted being concerned in the supply of the drugs in Cameronian Way on November 3 last year.
Lewis Devoy, prosecuting, said officers were sent to the area about midday.
He told the court: “They were looking to speak to the accused as part of their inquiry into a disturbance.
“He allowed them into his home and, while checking to see if anyone else was there, the officers observed a plastic bag containing green herbal material on a coffee table.”
This turned out to be cannabis and more bags of the same material were found in various rooms. The officers also seized digital scales, latex gloves and money lying on a TV stand.
Mr Devoy added: “They found a white rock substance inside a safe. This was 48g of cocaine with a value of £2000.
“In total 1.34kg of cannabis worth £7500 was recovered. The accused was interviewed and admitted all of the drugs were his. He said they were all for personal use.”
Defence agent Elaine Rae said Everett, a self-employed landscaper, has drug and alcohol addiction issues and has been getting help recently.
Sheriff Michael Higgins called for background reports and deferred sentence until next month.
