A serial offender who threatened neighbours in Blantyre has been jailed for four months.
Jordan Bonner, 22, admitted threatening or abusive behaviour in Welsh Drive on December 16 last year.
An allegation that he brandished a knife was dropped from the charge.
Hamilton Sheriff Court heard Bonner subjected several people to threats and abuse, warning ‘All three of you are getting it tonight’, ‘I’ll burn down your shed’ and ‘You better watch because I’m coming for you’.
He also yelled ‘Get Jimmy out here. I want him now’.
Bonner’s not guilty pleas were accepted to two charges of assaulting individuals in Welsh Drive on December 10.
It had been alleged that he stabbed, kicked and punched two people.
The court heard Bonner has previous convictions and was jailed for nine months earlier this year for having a knife.
He was given four months on the latest charge but the sentence was backdated as he has been in custody since March 30, meaning his immediate release.
