ATLANTA — Texas fans headed to the SEC Championship will need to show up with a big appetite.
Levy, the food, beverage and hospitality partner of Mercedes Benz Stadium, is holding a competition between Longhorns and Bulldogs fans to order more “Rack-O-Rib volcano” dishes. There will be a limit of 100 orders and a race to see which fan base can show stronger support for their team’s specific dish.
For Texas, the full rack of St. Louis ribs will be coated with a Chipotle BBQ sauce and filled with mac & cheese, Ritz cracker crumbs, green onions and kettle chips, Levy officials told WFAA.
Fans can purchase the ribs for $30 at Molly B’s – located near section 133. The Rack-O-Rib volcano is $30.
Texas and Georgia will kick off Saturday, Dec. 7 at 3 p.m. on WFAA. Tickets to attend the game cost hundreds of dollars.
