Cops have arrested and charged two men after more than £160,000 was stolen in housebreakings in Glasgow and Elderslie, Renfrewshire, last week.
Jewellery worth around £60,000 and £4,000 in cash was taken from a property in the Duthie Park area of Glasgow on Friday, November 29.
A watch worth around £13,650 and a BMW car worth around £85,000 was stolen from an address in Elderslie on Tuesday, November 26.
Two men, aged 25 and 34, have been arrested and charged in connection with the theft by housebreaking of valuables and the car.
Detective Inspector Ross Jamieson said: “Whenever someone’s home is broken into the impact is considerable, leaving people feeling unsafe. It also has an impact on the local community.
“We are determined to disrupt the activity of those involved and bring those responsible to justice.
