WASHINGTON (Gray DC) – White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre fielded some tough questions Friday as she defended President Biden’s pardon of his son, Hunter.
President Joe Biden issued a wide ranging pardon on Sunday, December 1.
Friday was a tough day in the briefing room as White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre defended President Biden’s pardon of his son, Hunter.
“Circumstances have changed they have and I said this on Monday as well. Republicans said they were not going to let up, weren’t going to stop. Recently announced Trump appointees for law enforcement have said on the campaign trail that they were out for retribution and I think that we should believe what they say.”
Still to be determined is whether President Biden will issue any so-called “preemptive” pardons for any officials who could be targeted by the Trump Administration.
