There were tears and disbelief just minutes into the I’m A Celebrity’s grand finale on Sunday night.

Ant and Dec had entered camp to announce the latest vote-off result on Saturday, with the scenes airing first thing during Sunday’s final. It was revealed that Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse did not make it to the final three, despite being a favourite to secure victory.

Oti took her leave after heartfelt farewells, with Ant and Dec then declaring this year’s finalists as Coleen Rooney, Danny Jones, and Reverend Richard Coles.

In an astonishing turn of events, the trio registered shock at both their progression to the final and Oti’s departure, reacting quickly to the surprising news from Ant and Dec. Rev Richard expressed his incredulity, while Coleen shared a tearful moment in the Bush Telegraph,

As Oti crossed the bridge to join Ant and Dec for her post-exit interview, the remaining trio grappled with the reality of the situation. McFly frontman Danny exclaimed: “It feels amazing, I didn’t expect this at all.”

Meanwhile, Richard couldn’t hide his astonishment at being one of the last contestants standing, saying: “I can’t believe I’m one of the final three! I never thought I would make it this far.”

Following that, an emotional Coleen stepped aside, expressing her pride at reaching the finale ahead of Sunday’s show. She shared: “Knowing that I have made it to the final makes me proud.

“I’m a proud mum, I’m a proud wife, I’m a proud daughter, it’s very rare that I’m proud of myself, so… I’m getting emotional. So it means a lot. It’s very rare that I put myself first, so yeah these are happy tears! ”

Before her departure, Oti mused on her experience, revealing: “There’s a little bit of a buzz in camp this morning. We are the final four and soon we are going to become the final three and we don’t know who’s going to leave but either way the four of us feel like we’ve had the entire journey and whatever happens, happens but I know I would’ve had the time of my life! “.
