New Amazon Prime series now streaming features some very recognisable voices in its cast including a John Wick and Terminator stars.

Secret Level is an anthology show from the creative team behind Netflix’s Love, Death + Robots. It adapts more than a dozen beloved video game franchises from Pac-Man to Dungeons and Dragons.

The first eight episodes are streaming from December 10. The rest of the series is expected to be released on December 17. However some big name stars are already featured in the early instalments.

Running times range from just a few minutes to less than 20 minutes total in duration so there isn’t long to hear a famous voice. The Amazon Prime Video app tends to automatically play the next episode before fans will have a chance to spot names in the credits either.

So here are some of the most noteworthy actors and stars lending their voices to the series and which episode they feature.

The first voice that is instantly recognisable throughout the series belongs to the action star famous for roles in The Terminator and Predator. It is none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger. Many fans expected the actor-turned-politician to feature in the series but the speculation over which part he will play has turned out to be wrong.

Surprisingly, Schwarzenegger takes on the role of King Aelstrom in the episode based on the role playing game New World. He’s not even the only former terminator that features in the episode. He is also joined by Gabriel Luna, who plays King Zimah. Luna also took on the mantle of a killer robot in human skin as he played a terminator in the most recent instalment of the franchise subtitled Dark Fate.

While the Unreal Tournament follows the beginning of a robotic uprising, fans may just about recognise the voice of the Gamesmaster. It is played by Elodie Young who appeared in the Netflix Daredevil series as Elektra.

Next is the first alumni member of the long-running series Supernatural as Mark Sheppard appears in the Warhammer 40,000 episode. He plays Ultramarines Orbital Command as well as the role of Astropath. Meanwhile, Clive Standen, known for appearing in Vikings, reprises his role of Demetrian Titus, which he played in the original Space Marine 2 game.

Emily Swallow voices Puck in the Pac-Man episode – essentially the Pac-Man. Her voice will be familiar to many as the armourer in Star Wars spin-off series The Mandalorian, while she also appeared as Amara in Supernatural.

Hollyoaks actor and former Strictly Come Dancing runner-up Ricky Whittle, who went on to appear in American Gods and The 100 features in the episode adapting first-person shooter Crossfire. He plays the part of Cross.

The Armored Core episode, based on the series of third-person mech action games is the most stacked cast list so far. It features Arnie’s son, Patrick Schwarzenegger as The Kid, as well as Temuera Morrison as Old Salt.

Morrison is instantly recognisable as Jango Fett in the Star Wars prequels while he also took on the role of the bounty hunter’s clone son Boba in the spin-off series.

However, the episode also boasts star of John Wick and The Matrix Keanu Reeves. Not only does he voice the character but the animators also utilise the actor’s likeness for The Pilot. It’s not the first time Reeves has lent his voice and face to something game-related. He also appeared in CD Projekt Red’s ambitious RPG Cyberpunk 2077 as rock star Johnny Silverhand.
