Youngsters at a primary school in Cambuslang have been enjoying a bit of magic in the mornings before classes start.
Last month saw the launch of Cairns Primary’s Magic Breakfast with food being taken out into the school playground and offered to pupils and their siblings, and parents and carers.
The children are being offered breakfast every morning at the school in Ivybank Avenue.
There was a great choice for a better start to the day with bagels, toast, crumpets and cereal all on offer, with the youngsters eager to try them out and find new favourites.

Miss McMenemy, acting Principal Teacher at Cairns Primary, said “The Magic Breakfast aims to tackle the morning hunger and give the learners a better start to their day.

“This session we are targeting P1, P4 and P7 as we trial the Magic Breakfast and once a week it will be taken out during playtime for everyone to enjoy.

“The launch got off us off to a great start and we cannot wait to see how it improves the wellbeing of our pupils.

“The pupils also enjoyed a magic breakfast with Santa this week, spreading the Christmas joy while filling tummies”.
