An optical illusion has left viewers stumped. The animal is hiding in plain sight – but can you spot it?
While keeping fit is key, giving our brains a workout is just as important. Puzzles and brainteasers are great for keeping the mind sharp, helping to build neural connections which may help prevent conditions like dementia.
Optical illusions offer a fascinating peek into how our minds interpret visual information, with just a blend of colours, patterns, and light sufficient to trick the brain into seeing what isn’t there. While you might rate your perceptual abilities highly, an optical illusion could reveal new insights.
The task of finding a snow leopard camouflaged within a picture left many scratching their heads.
The puzzle got trickier as some admitted they had to switch from phones to larger screens to get a better look at the camouflaged creature. Shared by the Reddit account Find the Sniper, the image invites users to “Find the snow leopard watching you.”
And we can assure you, it’s not simple to solve. But it racked up plenty of likes and comments since it was recently shared. One commented: “I spent far too long on this. After a few deep breaths, I think I got the right spot.”
Another exclaimed: “It’s so small,” while another quipped: “I realised pretty quick I wouldn’t find it, at least not on my phone.” Meanwhile, another person commented: “Snow leopards have the best camo. I can’t find it.”
Some offered helpful hints, with one individual pinpointing the location: “Just its head, centred towards the bottom.”
Additionally, someone else gave a detailed explanation: “Centre, about 1/6 of the way up from the bottom staring back at us with just the head. That was a good one.”
If you direct your gaze to the centre bottom part of the image, you’ll catch a glimpse of a little face peeking through the rocks.
