HINTON, W.Va. – The High School Basketball season is now in full swing.

Friday night in Hinton, the Summers County Bobcats Boys team opened up their season with the visiting Midland trail Patriots who were 0-1 at the start.

After a quick 7-0 run for the Bobcats to start the game, the Patriots turned on the offense, hitting 3’s, jumping passes, and converting tough layups.

The Patriots eventually went on to beat Summers County 63-50 to knot their record up at 1 win, 1 loss on the young season.
