A man is in a serious condition in hospital after an attempted murder in a Glasgow park.
Officers from Police Scotland were called to Auldhouse Park on Auldhouse Road in the Shawlands area of the city last night, December 13, at around 7.30pm following reports of an incident.
A 38-year old man was seriously injured and rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
Cops are now hunting three men who were seen in the area at the time, one riding an e-scooter, before they are believed to have made off in the direction of Riverford Road.
It comes after the Record reported last night that the park was taped off by police with officers in attendance. An eyewitness reported seeing “lots of police” in the area, including CID officers who were “searching the park with torches”.

Police are now appealing to the public for their help in trying to trace the men.
Detective Inspector John Dowds said: “A dedicated team of officers are working on this and I would like to reassure the community that we are doing everything we can to trace whoever is responsible.
“Extensive enquiries are ongoing and we have been gathering CCTV footage from the surrounding area, which is being reviewed. Officers have also been carrying out door to door enquiries in the local area and will continue to do so.
“But I would also be very keen to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have information which can assist our investigation. Please think back – did you see or hear anything suspicious? Or did you see three men in the area on Friday evening?

“I would also like to hear from anyone who has dash cam, private CCTV or doorbell footage around the time of the incident. Any information, or footage, could prove vital, so please do pass it on to officers.
“Officers will remain in the area while enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with any information, or any concerns, can speak to them. Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 3260 of 13 December. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
