Strictly Come Dancing is drawing to a close after 13 weeks of fierce competition in the iconic ballroom. Following the departure of Pete Wicks and Jowita Przysta in last week’s semi-final, the finalists are Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec, JB Gill and Lauren Oakley, Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola and Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell.

The four remaining couples will perform a trio of routines on Saturday night (December 14) in an attempt to win over BBC viewers at home.

Although judges Anton Du Beke, Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood, and Shirley Ballas will still score the finalists’ dances, their scores are merely for guidance and the ultimate winner is entirely up to the public.

Presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will return to the ballroom to host the grand finale as one couple is crowned with the coveted Glitterball Trophy.

The series will end at 8.35pm when this year’s winner has lifted the Glitterball Trophy and will be followed by Michael McIntyre’s 25th Year Stand-Up Special.
