Condensation, which can cause significant damage to windows and potentially harm your respiratory health through mould exposure, is a common household annoyance.

One exasperated homeowner took her plight to the Mrs. Hinch Army Facebook page, sharing her successful battle against condensation with fellow cleaning enthusiasts, the Express

The excited woman posted: “I was recommended this Unibond 360 Moisture Absorber to deal with window condensation which was driving me mad.”

The good news is investing in one won’t break the bank, as one costs just £5.94 from Viking Direct, while it costs slightly more at Amazon for £6.77.

Referring to a picture she posted, the woman spoke on the effectiveness of the product: “The blue bit of wall you can see behind kept going black and the windows would be dripping every morning. I’ve had this for two weeks now, and oh my gosh, what a difference!”

She further added to her testimonial: “Not a single drop of water on the windows, no black mildew or mould, just one container full of blue liquid. Anyone having an issue with window condensation, I’d highly recommend these! I’ve got one in every room now.”

Her post was met with an outpouring of support, amassing over 300 comments. Fellow fans chimed in with praise for the moisture absorber, as one person shared: “We had exactly the same problem and bought one of these too. The difference is unreal!”

Another enthusiast mentioned: “I’ve got a similar one from Robert Dyas, and yes they they really do work.”

A third happy customer commented: “These are amazing! Got two in our bathroom because it’s so bloody big and it works fantastic.”

Rounding out the positive feedback, another user highlighted an additional benefit: “We have these in every room and once full, I empty them into the toilet and makes my toilet smell nice.”

One satisfied customer raved: “We’ve got one of these in our conservatory and it’s made such a difference in there. Would really recommend. Not expensive either. They’re like £8 at Tesco.”

However, some users did note that the gadget “looks ugly”, and warned of potential fabric stains if the blue liquid spills.
