A man is due in court today after being charged in connection with a serious assault following the death of a man in Wishaw.
James McMaster, 53, was found dead within a flat in Maxton Crescent in the North Lanarkshire town at around 2.10pm on Thursday, December 5.
A 50-year-old man is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court today (Monday, December 16) after being arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and enquiries remain ongoing.
