The discount retailer is currently stocking a range of gifts that mimic high-end brands for less. For fans of Sol de Janeiro, one gift set is unmissable.
It’s the Body Stories Salted Caramel Travel Gift Set that is currently “trending” and “selling” fast online. Also available to buy in store, this bargain gift is priced at just £5, meaning you can purchase a popular present without spending too much.

Included in the set is a body wash, body butter and body mist that you can either gift separately as stocking fillers or as one big present. Scented with sumptuous salted caramel, numerous shoppers have likened it to the iconic Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush.
Since it’s priced at £5, or £4.50 for perks members, this means that each product works out at around £1.50 to £1.60 each. Considering a 90ml of Brazilian Crush body spray costs £24 and the iconic Bum Bum Cream costs £36, we consider this to be quite the bargain for a similar scent.
One post that shared the ‘dupe’ set online was captioned: “DUPE ALERT. Don’t walk, RUN to Poundland to get your hands on the Sol de Janeiro dupe set! Prices vary from £3 – £5…BARGAIN! Save some pennies this Christmas, they smell and feel the same!”
Meanwhile, other money-conscious shoppers have been heaping praise on Poundland’s gift set after one shopper shared it in the Bargain Lovers Facebook page. They captioned their post: “Sol de janeiro jupe stocking fillers at poundland £5.”
Of course, other shoppers chimed in with their praise, as one wrote: “These are cute.” Someone else said: “They actually smell really nice and stay on your clothes ages!”
Another glowing piece of praise read: “dupe smell is nicer than original, and original doesn’t last longer than 5 hours.” While another shopper said: “Will definitely have to grab a few of these, I saw them yesterday.”
It is worth mentioning that not everyone was keen on the scent, as one disappointed shopper said: “I smelled both and it’s actually horrendous. Quite disappointing.”
