Josie Gibson left her Capital FM co-host Jordan North speechless after a Christmas prank went slightly too far.
During Monday morning’s show, I’m a Celebrity star Jordan gave Josie a present, saying: “‘To Josie, Love Jordan.’ The 39-year-old exclaimed: “Awww” as she read the tag with Jordan suggesting: “I think you should wear my present on Christmas Day.”
Upon opening the gift to find a Christmas pudding costume, Josie appeared visibly upset. Pretending to be offended by the present, she said: “Mate, you know… I did…Tom, I told you I didn’t want to talk about this. I’ve told you I didn’t want to talk about it”.
An off-camera voice chimed in: “I thought it would be funny, because it’s the Christmas pudding story,” to which Jodie sharply replied: “You thought it would be funny? I nearly died. This is not… This isn’t really funny. Can we drop this bit?”
Josie continued to protest: “This is really bad” while Jordan repeatedly apologised, unaware of the joke, the Mirror reports.
Josie then began to tear up and stormed out of the studio, yelling: “Go south, Jordan North!” Despite her exit, Jordan continued to say sorry, confused by the situation. However, Josie soon returned with a big smile, revealing: “Only kidding!” as she resumed her seat opposite a relieved Jordan.
Josie couldn’t help but giggle as Jordan was left in shock, thinking he’d reduced her to tears with his gift. “I feel sick,” he confessed.

“Oh my God, Josie! I’m actually dripping with sweat. What the hell! Oh my God!” Despite the holiday high jinks, Josie disclosed her deep love for Yuletide traditions since becoming a mother to her boy Reg in 2018.
She told the Mirror how she cherished the annual ritual of dressing Reg up in a smart suit for their Santa visit, which has become her most treasured festive custom.
She said: “I’m all about the magic, and keeping the magic alive. Reg is the best version of himself the whole way through December because Father Christmas calls us and his elves call us and I always make him go and see Father Christmas in a suit.”
She also expressed: “I love seeing Reg’s face when he comes down on Christmas morning. You know when they go, ‘He’s been! ‘ That is everything for me. That’s why I do everything, to celebrate that moment.”
Hosting Christmas this time around, Josie intends to have a feast ready for friends and family to pop by. And while she’s flying solo, she’s far from feeling the lack of a partner during the festivities.
She explained: “Reg is my biggest distraction. And people… your connections and relationships are so important. They’re the things that are going to stay with you for ever. What is meant to be on your path, will be on your path. You could spend all day worrying, but you’re not going to get anywhere.”
On the topic of partners, she added: “It wouldn’t be fair on them. My time is split between my career and my son, where would anyone fit in? “
