A Brooklyn man was arrested Tuesday for the chain-reaction crash that killed a hardworking young Uber driver in October, cops said.

Fitzroy Moore, 24, was arrested in the collision that killed driver Rakibul Hasan, 24, as he headed home after an Uber shift.  Moore, driving a BMW sedan, smashed into the back of Hasan’s Toyota Prius in Plumb Beach near the Flatbush Ave. exit on the Belt Parkway.

The crash pushed the Prius through the median between the east and west-bound lanes, where the driver of a Honda CR-V slammed into Hasan’s car. Moore and a 35-year-old woman remained at the crash site. Medics rushed Hasan to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, but he could not be saved.

Moore was charged with manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, assault, reckless endangerment, reckless driving and speeding. His arraignment was pending in Brooklyn criminal court.

Hasan worked as an Uber driver to help support his family after they migrated to New York City, relatives told the Daily News after the deadly crash.

“He’s a good person, a very good person,” Hasan’s uncle, Mohammed Hanif, told The News. “I miss him. I miss a lot of things. I call him my son. I loved him.”

Hanif loaned Hasan his Toyota Prius so he could drive for Uber and earn some money while he was enrolled in a GED program to get his high school diploma.

“He worked Uber and took care of the family,” Hasan’s father, also named Mohammed Hanif, told The News after the crash. “We live together. We took lunch together and then he said, ‘OK, papa, I go to work.’”
