AUSTIN, Texas — Firefighters rescued passengers after a bus rollover in South Austin Wednesday morning.
The Austin Fire Department (AFD) said around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday that firefighters were responding to a bus rollover in the area of South First Street and West William Cannon Drive. Crews were working to remove passengers who are inside the rolled over bus.
By 10:40 a.m., AFD said all passengers had been removed from the bus. Austin-Travis County EMS said the two-vehicle crash involves four patients, one of whom has been taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
AFD said its crews will remain on the scene to assist with patient care and scene safety.
