Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are still in “limited” communication amid their ongoing divorce, according to a report.
The exes do still “speak, but it is limited unless it revolves around their kids,” an insider told Entertainment Tonight.
The Bronx-born pop star, 55, and Oscar winner, 52, are “living their own lives, focusing on work and doing what’s best for their families.”
Photos published by TMZ show the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer and Affleck over the weekend at a school play, also attended by Affleck’s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
Affleck and Garner’s 15-year-old child, Seraphina, and Lopez’s 16-year-old child Emme — who was photographed hugging Affleck in a snap shared by ET — were both involved in the show.
After spending Thanksgiving together with their family, Garner, 52, and Affleck, who ended their 10-year marriage in 2015, “have Christmas plans with the kids, too.
“The kids enjoy when they all spend time together,” continued the insider.
Together, the “Gone Girl” star and Garner also share daughter Violet, 19, and son Samuel, 12. Garner has been in a relationship with businessman John Miller since 2018.
Early last month, Affleck said Lopez was “spectacular” in “Unstoppable,” their new Anthony Robles biopic they co-produced.
After several months of split speculation, the “Hustlers” star filed for divorce from Affleck on Aug. 20, the second anniversary of their lavish Georgia nuptials. The lavish ceremony took place several weeks after a smaller wedding in Las Vegas.
Lopez appeared on the cover of Interview Magazine in October, revealing in a chat with Nikki Glaser that recent months nearly took her “out for good.” Now though, Lopez said she believes that turmoil “is exactly what I needed.”
