LEWISBURG, W.Va. – White Sulphur Springs Elementary School will see major renovations, thanks to a $14.5 million grant that was approved by the state School Building Authority on Tuesday.
Superintendent of Schools Jeff Bryant said the improvements will mean a better equipped school to meet the needs of students, staff and the community.
The renovations include a secure and accessible school entrance, improved traffic flow and safety, a new multipurpose room addition, and a dedicated administration area to includes spaces for counseling, nurses and other essential services.
The school will also see HVAC and electrical upgrades, window replacement, new roofing and restroom improvements.
“We are grateful to the School Building Authority for supporting this important project. This investment underscores our commitment to providing safe and efficient learning environments for our students,” said Bryant.
