Molly-Mae Hague didn’t shy away from sharing intimate details about her past relationship with Tommy Fury.
The entrepreneur discussed the ups and downs of her time with the professional boxer, and has now criticised her ex after confessing that her life changed ‘overnight’ following their tumultuous split.
The former Love Island pair, both 25, shocked fans in August when they announced their break up after five years together. Both celebrities posted emotional statements on Instagram which sparked a flurry of rumours, with Tommy being accused of infidelity – an allegation he strongly denied, the Mirror reports.
Now, the first trailer from her Prime documentary series, Molly-Mae: Behind It All, released on January 17, reveals a number of insights into the painful end of the relationship.
In one clip, Molly, who was planning to marry Tommy after getting engaged last year, says: “We were utterly obsessed with one another. All I ever wanted was to get married. Suddenly, overnight, every part of my life changed.”
This six-part series follows Molly’s candid revelations on her YouTube channel and in her memoir, Becoming Molly-Mae.
In the bestselling 2022 book, the millionaire influencer even opened up about her and Tommy’s sexual relationship, and later confessed they stopped being intimate for a long period of time after the birth of Bambi. Molly explained how severe pain caused by endometriosis meant that intimacy was the last thing on her mind.

Molly, originally from Stevenage, shared: “Before I was with Tommy, I wasn’t really having sex, so I didn’t really think there were any problems other than my period pains. I was suffering horrendous pain – literally feeling like I’d been stabbed in the stomach – just awful. And it was causing me so many issues.
“Big TMI! But my sex life just became non-existent: it was just not part of our relationship.”
The NHS describes endometriosis as a long-term condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows in other parts of the body, such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes. Symptoms can include heavy or painful periods, as well as discomfort during and after sex.
This isn’t the first time Molly has candidly discussed her and Tommy’s intimacy struggles. In a frank YouTube video alongside her sister Zoe, Molly confessed that her ‘sex drive was through the roof’ during her pregnancy, while Tommy wasn’t as enthusiastic.
Molly admitted: “Some men are really into it [sex when their partner is pregnant] or some partners will be… Tommy found it quite uncomfortable the thought that Bambi was in there and I was here. It was just a bit weird.”
She added: “I remember when I was pregnant and I wanted to have sex all the time and Tommy didn’t I was like, ‘Oh do you not find me attractive? ‘ But I always say to Tommy if I’m not feeling it, ‘It’s nothing to do with you it’s a me problem’.”
In a candid confession about her relationship, Molly revealed in a recent vlog nearly a year postpartum with daughter Bambi: “Tommy and I, since having Bambi, so coming up to a year now. Tommy and I haven’t had any proper time together, we have date nights and go to the cinema but I don’t really feel like that counts as proper time as a couple – like adult intimate nice quality time together.”
While many commend Molly for addressing issues many couples face, there’s also empathy for Tommy due to the public nature of the discussions, as highlighted by Mail Online columnist Amanda Platell.
Platell criticises Molly’s plea for privacy as ironic, writing: “When she revealed to millions that they had no sex life, I did feel a shred of sympathy for Tommy. What man wants the world to hear that he has become as celibate as a Trappist monk. It was humiliating.
“The trouble is that to attract and retain those millions of followers who make you so much money – £6million and counting in Molly’s case – you need to keep revealing more and more.”
The separation of this Love Island power duo, often likened to Gen Z’s Charles and Diana, led to a wave of emotion, with fans dissecting Molly’s startling Instagram announcement.
In a post filled with unmistakable heartache, the Maebe owner shared: “After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end. I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter.”
As the shock announcement settled, speculation ignited about what could have caused such a seemingly strong union to collapse so dramatically just a year following Molly’s acceptance of Tommy’s idyllic proposal in Ibiza. The phrase ‘especially this way’ caught the eye of fans who are now piecing together the mysterious decline of the couple’s romance.
Tommy has been compelled to refute rumours of infidelity, including accusations of him kissing a blonde Danish woman at a club in Macedonia, with his representative firmly telling the Mirror: “Tommy is horrified by the false allegations of cheating being circulated by the media and he’s consulting his lawyers.”
