Michelle McManus is to host the biggest Burns Night celebration in the world.
The Pop Idol winner is one of a number of stars taking part in Burns Night Live, part of the Big Burns Supper in Dumfries.
The celebration will take place in the town’s Loreburn Hall on Burns Night itself – January 25 – and be broadcast around the world.
Five hours of entertainment are in store with acts set to appear including Eddie Reader, her band and a string quartet, Grant Dinwiddie and Lucky Doves, Girobabies, Culla, Dumfries Community Choir and Hunter and McMustard as well as Dumfries newcomer Diablo.
The evening starts at 6pm and tickets cost £55, which includes a two course Burns Supper and a dram from sponsors Lochlea Distillery.
