Ayrshire Fire stations have been spreading Christmas cheer and inviting local communities to visit Santa.
Kilwinning Community Fire Station held their popular festive drive-through which saw hundreds of cars and families arriving to see Santa. Staff were dressed as elves and the station’s cook, Annie Chapman become Mrs Claus and ensured there was lots of delicious home baking.
The station also held a ‘quiet’ session to ensure children who are sensitive to noise to lights didn’t miss out.
New Cumnock Community Fire Station held a Christmas market and invited local business to share and display their produce.
Local food larders were supported by Largs Community Fire Station and stations at Muirkirk and Dreghorn also supported local charities with fundraising.

Watch Commander Vicky Hodge from Ayr Community Fire Station has been busy supporting the charity Night Before Christmas by collecting Christmas gifts for children and young people as part of their annual appeal.
Area Commander Ian McMeekin is SFRS Local Senior Officer for Ayrshire. He said: “All our staff across all stations in Ayrshire get involved and it’s all about supporting people in our local communities and bringing some Christmas spirit.
