Ferry services between Scotland and Northern Ireland have been cancelled just days before Christmas.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning as winds of 70 miles per hour are expected to hit Dumfries and Galloway this weekend, with travel chaos expected as people make their way home for the holidays.
And with Storm Eowyn approaching, P&O Ferries have cancelled the majority of their crossings between Cairnryan in Dumfries and Galloway and Larne in Northern Ireland on Sunday, December 22.
The 8am, 11am, 2pm and 5pm sailings have all been cancelled. It is hoped sailings will resume from 8pm on Sunday evening but that is weather dependent.
Some P&O services on the same route have also suffered delays today.
And Stena Line Services between Cairnryan and Belfast have been delayed by as much as two-and-a-half hours due to the weather.
The delays come less than a week after both Stena and P&O services at Cairnryan suffered extensive delays due to hundreds more lorries than usual trying to board.
The closure of Holyhead port in Wales due to damaged suffered during Storm Darragh has seen all ferry services between Dublin and the Anglesey terminal cancelled. The port is set to remain shut until at least January 15.
