Members of a scooter club shared a bit of Christmas joy throughout the community with their annual chocolate appeal.
The High Numbers Scooter Club outdid their previous efforts collecting in selection boxes before distributing them to children living locally.
Over 630 selection boxes were collected in, a new high total.
We caught up with club members Alan Apicella, Andrew McEwan and Neil McAllister at the collection point in the Black Bull pub in Cambuslang just as they were about to take off on their final drop-off run.

Neil McAllister said: “We’ve delivered them to James Aiton Primary, Westburn Nursery, Cairns Primary and Nursery, and Cathkin Primary.
“It’s been a good year for the collection and we had 630-odd, and we hope it gets better every year.
“There’s been all sorts of people handing them in to us at the pub. I have a van and there’s the three of us been out delivering.

“We want to than everyone for their wonderful generosity and also thank the schools and the pupils for their warm welcome.”
