I’ve long been wondering how and why anyone would be stupid enough to vote for Donald Trump, and you gave me a solid piece of proof that you’re all a bunch of babbling bigots. Now, let’s get a few things clear: His real name is Michael Weiner, not Savage. Let’s stop trying to make people look cool who are not, OK? Secondly, this man is a botanist — another scammer with zero political experience. Thirdly, he has a podcast because no one will hire him. He’s been fired by every major media outlet he was associated with. He states in the book you refer to that PTSD is for “weak soldiers” who need to stop “faking and man up.” He states the same about autism. He is a confirmed Islamophobe. He hates people with HIV and AIDs, calls them “pigs,” then tries to sell them herbal cures with his books!
So, thank you for providing an actual reason why you all have seemed to have lost your collective minds and voted this toddler-handed idiot to run our country. Half of our country is unequivocally uneducated and racist, wanting it to be a haven for white people only. Half of our country does not believe in autism, mental illness, PTSD or science. You would all rather blindly follow this racist into the fire because he tickles your bigot bone.

Brooklyn: Before the recent election, some 67% of Republican voters believed that the federal election system was illegitimate. Now that Trump won, 89% of the same voters believe that the election was fair! Welcome to the reality that the implementation of U.S. presidential elections are always fraud-free, no matter who the winner is. The only attempts at fraud were committed in the 2000 Florida presidential race and Russian interference in 2016, both by Republican campaigns. Auburndale: Former President Trump is filing a suit against a newspaper because their poll showed he was losing the election in Iowa. He wound up winning that state by 13 points. Isn’t it possible that certain people saw the poll and said, “I wasn’t going to bother to vote but there is no way I am going to let that woman, Kamala Harris, become my president”? Valley Stream, L.I.: So, Trump is open to pardoning Mayor Adams even though they represent opposing political parties. It just goes to show that there really is honor among thieves. On the other hand, it has been reported that “Trump said he was outraged that some Americans have expressed sympathy for the man accused of gunning down Brian Thompson on a Manhattan sidewalk.” Therefore, it is safe to assume that there will be no pardon for Luigi Mangione. Edison, N.J.: Wow! What a big deal that Congress is going to release the report on Rapey McFivehead, Matt Gaetz, as we found out in your newspaper. He should be with his running buddy Joel Greenberg, who has been in prison for two years now after supplying Gaetz with the underage girls. This is yet another example of a two-tiered justice system helping bail out the rich and powerful. Merrick Garland had four years to charge the slimy Gaetz but let him off. If (huge if) he is charged now, Drumpf would quickly pardon him and he’d be free to continue his reign of criminality, just like his master Drumpf. Thomas Morrison

Manhattan: Re “Dump the Electoral College” (editorial, Dec. 19): Alexander Hamilton, in “Federalist #68,” requested the citizens of New York to support the proposed Electoral College in the new Constitution, writing: “The mode of appointment of the Chief Magistrate of the United States is almost the only part of the system… which has received the slightest mark of approbation (approval) from its opponents. I venture further, and hesitate not to affirm, that if the manner is not perfect, it is at least excellent. It unites in an eminent degree all the advantages, the union of which is to be wished for.” The wisdom of the Founders should not be so lightly regarded by the Daily News. Among other attributes, the Electoral College forces presidential candidates to pay attention to the concerns of voters in states of all sizes, not just those with the largest populations. Paul Weiss

Since then, they added many more superstars, including Juan Soto, who left for the crosstown rival New York Mets this off-season. Now, with the addition of pitcher Max Fried — another stud who has excellent numbers — manager Aaron Boone says we have added a championship piece. Massapequa, L.I.: Re “Get those cops who are ‘hiding out’ back on the street: Adams” (Dec. 18): Mayor Adams would be better suited to lambast the City Council members and Gov. Hochul for their no-bail, soft-on-crime policies rather than insulting hard-working police officers. I’m sure there are some officers who should be deployed back to the streets, but to insinuate that cops are “hiding out” is an insult and unjustified. Soft-on-crime policies of the council members and the governor are the cause of most of the crime problem. Police are making arrests, and the same individuals are released to commit additional crimes instead of being held in jail. Michael Greaney
