A road has been closed after a police car was involved with a crash with another vehicle in Aberdeenshire.
Emergency services were called to Bridge Street in Tarland after the incident happened on Friday evening. Pictures shared on social media showed a marked police car badly damaged as a result of the smash.
The front of the vehicle could be seen to be crushed due to the impact of the collision. It’s not believed anyone was seriously injured as a result.
A post on local Facebook page Fubar News read: “Road closed from Tarland Bridge to Aboyne junction following a RTC. (It’s being reported that drivers and passengers are ok).”
Police Scotland have been asked for comment.
