GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, Ariz. (AZFamily/Gray News) — Officials are asking for the public’s help as crews search for a woman who went missing at the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park last week.
Search teams are looking for 66-year-old Martha Anne Overholser. She didn’t return to a commercial bus tour on Tuesday, Dec. 10, and was last seen at Mather Point near the park’s south entrance.
Officials believe she may have walked west from the area toward Bright Angel Lodge or Hermit’s Rest.
Overholser is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 110 pounds and has gray hair with blue eyes.
She was last seen wearing a long coat, off-white in color, a gray hooded sweatshirt and was carrying a navy blue bag.
