Fuming Joe Cullen stormed out of his media conference and slammed perceived disrespect after hammering Wessel Nijman.
The fired-up Englishman barely said a word during his on-stage TV interview immediately after dismantling the Dutch kid. Cullen subsequently strode into the press room to unload on the reasons for his anger.
He snapped: “I tell you what. Honestly, the media attention that Wessel’s got, again this is not a reflection on him. He seems like a fantastic kid. Beforehand, Cullen had chewed his lip and was bubbling as he said: “I’m over the moon. I played some of my best stuff. “Proud? I’m 30 places ranked above him. I’m happy with the performance.
