A missing persons probe is underway after the disappearance of a traveller who headed to Scotland from the south of England earlier this month.
Marc Drostle left London and headed to Aviemore, in the Highlands, on December 12. But he was last seen at the MacDonald Resort in the town on December 17.
He has since been reported missing and now Police Scotland has appealed to the public for information on his whereabouts in a bid to track him down.
A post on the Police Scotland Highland & Islands Facebook page read: “Police in Aviemore are appealing for assistance to trace Marc Drostle, who has been reported missing.
“Marc is believed to have travelled to the Aviemore area from London on the 12th December 2024. The last sighting of Marc was at the MacDonald Resort, Aviemore on 17th December 2024.
“Marc is described to be around 5 feet and 9 inches tall (174 cm), slim build, white British in appearance. He is believed to be wearing a black puffer jacket and carrying a blue rucksack.
“Anyone with sightings or information of where Marc could be, please call Police Scotland on 101 and quote reference PS-20241221-1774.”
