(Gray News) – Former President Bill Clinton was discharged Tuesday after he was hospitalized Monday with a fever.
Clinton’s Deputy Chief of Staff Angel Ureña confirmed on the social media platform X that the 78-year-old was discharged after being treated for the flu.
“He and his family are deeply grateful for the exceptional care provided by the team at MedStar Georgetown University and are touched by the kind messages and well wishes he received,” Ureña said in the post.
Clinton was admitted to MedStar Georgetown University Monday afternoon for “testing and observation” after he developed a fever.
“He sends his warmest wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season to all,” Ureña said.
