HOLMES COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/Gray News) – A FedEx worker was arrested after packages went missing.
Officials with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office arrested Latavion Lewis after he admitted to getting rid of packages he was supposed to deliver.
Deputies said Lewis admitted to discarding undelivered packages “due to the late hour” instead of returning them to the FedEx warehouse.
Officials said 44 packages have been recovered.
Lewis was taken into custody and charged with organized scheme to defraud, grand theft and illegal dumping.
