Beyoncé performed some of her “Cowboy Carter” hits for the first time in front of a live audience and brought along some special guests.

WASHINGTON — Beyoncé made sure everyone had a Merry Christmas by delivering an incredible halftime show on Netflix.

Queen Bey performed live at NRG Stadium on Christmas Day during the Ravens-Texans game, which featured the first time she’s performed any of the music from her country album, “Cowboy Carter,” in front of a live audience.

Riding into her halftime appearance on a white horse, the 32-time Grammy winner rocked her hometown Houston crowd with a nearly 13-minute performance on Wednesday.

The halftime show set list featured several songs including: “16 Carriages,” “Blackbird,”  “Sweet Honey Buckiin”, “Levii’s Jeans,” “Jolene” and “Texas Hold ‘Em.”

There were also some special guests along the way including Shaboozey, Post Malone and Beyoncé’s own daughter Blue Ivy Carter. She was also joined by Brittney Spencer, Reyna Roberts, Tanner Adell and Tiera Kennedy.

The performance concluded with Beyoncé soaring high above the field on a platform as a banner unraveled with the word “BANG.”

The Netflix Christmas Day NFL doubleheader broadcast itself went off just fine, quickly becoming the second-most popular live title on the streaming giant to date, according to NFL Media.

Beyoncé January 14, 2025

Immediately after the performance, Beyoncé dropped a teaser on social media that ended with the date Jan. 14, 2025. The internet was immediately filled with speculation about what exactly that could mean. Some have theorized it could be a tour announcement or the release of the third act from her “Renaissance” era, which was initially introduced as a three-part act, with “Cowboy Carter” being the second.

It was during the 2024 Super Bowl that Beyoncé “broke the internet” by announcing she’d be releasing new music, which was later revealed to be the “Cowboy Carter” album. Fans were sent into a frenzy online when that happened as they scoured the internet to find the new music she had announced. Look on the bright side, January 14 is less than three weeks away!
