If you enjoyed a festive Christmas dinner yesterday, chances are your fridge is now overflowing with leftovers. This surplus of food is the perfect excuse to create the ultimate sandwich, a true highlight of the year.

Boxing Day is the ideal time to assemble a delectable combination of turkey, stuffing, and ham between two slices of bread. However, one individual has elevated this seasonal treat to new heights by substituting traditional bread with two light and airy Yorkshire puddings.

Although smaller than conventional slices, a social media user has showcased the surprising amount of filling that can be accommodated within these roast dinner staples. This innovative snack is the brainchild of TikToker @DaddyMayCooks, a father and cooking enthusiast who shares his culinary creations with an audience of one million followers.

In response to a commenter’s request, the parent revealed his plans for utilizing leftovers on Boxing Day. In a video shared on the social media platform, the influencer began by selecting two Yorkshire puddings, adding a dollop of mashed potato, a spoonful of carrots and peas, and some turkey with stuffing.

He finished the assembly with an additional scoop of mashed potato, topped it off with gravy, and placed another Yorkshire pudding on top before toasting the creation in a toaster grill. To further enhance the flavor, he dipped the crispy meal into a small side of gravy, which served as an extra dipping sauce.

The perfectly toasted sandwich left viewers craving for more. “Got my tummy rumbling. Good work mate looks… Delicious,” wrote one hungry commenter.

Many agreed that the final product looks delicious. One comment read: “This looks and probably tastes fantastic,” while another said: “To he honest that looks amazing that gravy is perfect well done.”

One person who tested it for themselves confirmed this, saying: “I had some leftover roast dinner so I showed my mum this and I had it for tea it was lovely thanks mate.”
