Lorraine Kelly is thinking about moving back to Scotland with her daughter Rosie.
The Scots TV icon, born in Glasgow’s Gorbals, currently lives in Buckinghamshire, England, but has shared possible plans to leave life down south and move back up north with her family.
In a recent interview with The People’s Friend Special, Lorraine said: “Rosie and I were talking about it the other day and we think we’ll eventually all end up coming back to Scotland.
“I miss Dundee a lot. Rosie loved it there and still does.”
She also spoke about her love for the Orkney Islands, which is the setting for her new book The Island Swimmer.
Lorraine said: “I’ve just finished my second novel… once again set in Orkney and featuring some of the characters in the original book. I have unfinished business with them.
“It’s been more difficult to write the second one but I love it.
“My daughter, Rosie, came with me (to Orkney), and it was during that trip she told me she was pregnant. It was the best, so exciting, but I couldn’t tell anyone because it was so early on.”
