SEAHAWKS at BEARS

8:15 p.m., Seahawks by 3 ½, 43 ½

HANK’S HONEYS: After back-to-back losses to the Packers and Vikings, the Seahawks take on the worst of the NFC North in the struggling Bears. The once-formidable Bears defense has been run over for an average of 31 points per game over the last five weeks. Seattle is banged up for sure. Kenneth Walker appears out and Geno Smith will have to play through his injured knee once again. But Zach Charbonnet (elbow) has been upgraded to full go and with so much on the line, we expect a gamer like Smith to take advantage of a secondary that’s allowed the third-highest yards per attempt to opposing QBs throughout their 9-game skid. The Seahawks should also be able to get to Caleb Williams, one of the most-sacked QBs this year. A bad O-line gets even worse with LT Braxton Jones out for the year and LG Teven Jenkins doubtful. Backup LT Larry Borom has been a turnstile and with Jenkins out, he can’t count on much help. It could be a jailbreak. The Seahawks have taken care of business against bottom tier teams all season. Prior to the last two weeks, they handed the 49ers, Jets and Cardinals twice by a 10-point average margin. We’re leaning to the over here, assuming the Bears offense will not be shut down completely.

IF I WERE A BETTING MAN: Seahawks and the over.
