LOCKLAND, Ohio (WXIX/Gray News) – A pregnant sheep gave birth to twins on Christmas Eve in a live nativity display in Ohio.
The display in Lockland has been a staple for decades, but this year was extra special with the birth of the twin lambs.
“They’re adorable,” said attendee Cory Estes. “They’re little. I didn’t think they were that little. I don’t know. I thought they’d be a little bit bigger than that.”
The lambs seem to be in good shape, and the owner has asked folks to give them some space.
“They’re super cute, I love them,” said attendee Sydney Horning.
To make sure no one steals the sheep, police officers say they’re checking in every few hours to make sure they’re doing OK.
Visitors of the live nativity scene display say the lambs are a nice reminder of the meaning of Christmas.
The mother sheep and her babies will be at the nativity display until Thursday, Dec. 26 when the farmer returns to take them home.
