Police are hunting for a schoolboy after a woman was sexually assaulted in broad daylight.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, December 17, between 12pm and 12.30pm, when a boy aged 11-12, approached a woman in Woodford, Northamptonshire, and touched her inappropriately, reports the Mirror.
The suspect is described as a white boy with short hair and wearing blue jeans and a black bomber jacket. He later left in the direction of Mill Road before the incident was reported to police. Witnesses are being asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
A spokesman said: “Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted in High Street, Woodford.
“The incident happened on Tuesday, December 17, between 12pm and 12.30pm, when a boy approached a woman and touched her inappropriately. The suspect is described as a white boy, aged 11-12, with short, light brown hair and wearing a black bomber jacket and blue jeans.
“He walked away in the direction of Mill Road. Witnesses or anyone with information should call Northamptonshire Police on 101. Please quote incident number 24000747520 when passing on any information to make sure it gets to the right person as quickly as possible.”
