FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WBTV) – An “armed and dangerous” man is on the run after he allegedly shot and killed a DoorDash driver Thursday at a McDonald’s in North Carolina.
Fayetteville police said Friday morning that they were searching for 25-year-old Kevin Holland, who is accused of killing Samori Husamudeen at the restaurant on Santa Fe Drive.
Once in custody, Holland will be served with a warrant for first-degree murder.
CBS affiliate WNCN reported that Husamudeen was a DoorDash driver and went into the restaurant around 8 p.m. Once inside, he got into an argument with an employee, who shot him. Holland was later identified as the employee.
The owner of the McDonald’s told WNCN that the restaurant is “fully cooperating” with law enforcement, and supported its employees with counseling resources.
Anyone with information about Holland’s location should call 911, or Fayetteville/Cumberland County Crimestoppers at 910-483-TIPS. As of early Friday afternoon, there was no record of his arrest.
