Rangers will have to dust themselves down as they take to the road again to face Motherwell.
Philippe Clement’s men watched any dreams of a title challenge effectively killed off for good by St Mirren on Boxing Day, and know that another slip-up would have Celtic licking their lips at the prospect of an Old Firm derby at Ibrox on January 2 – where the home support would be out of patience. But before that they face another tough test against a Motherwell side who have flown under the radar for large spells this season, and who will be determined to put a 4-0 defeat at Parkhead behind them.
In former Celtic man Tony Watt they have a forward who will be determined to heap more misery on the Rangers support, and he could take full advantage of a crisis in the Rangers rear-guard – after Leon Balogun was forced off with an injury against St Mirren, joining John Souttar on the sidelines. Rangers boss Clement meanwhile will have to pick a side he believes can get the job done, but will also have one eye on the January 2 derby – and fringe men will be determined to prove a point to earn a space in the starting XI when they return to Ibrox.
All the ingredients are there for another pulsating Premiership encounter and Record Sport can ensure that you don’t miss a moment.

Team news
Rangers don’t have their troubles to seek, especially defensively – after Leon Balogun was forced off with an injury in the defeat to St Mirren. He joins John Souttar, who is expected to miss the entire festive period with a groin injury, on the treatment table. Long-term crock Neraysho Kasanwirjo has returned to parent club Feyenoord and Tom Lawrence also remains sidelined, but Oscar Cortes could feature – after being named in the squad against St Mirren.
Motherwell meanwhile will be without veteran defender Paul McGinn and long-term absentees Ross Callachan, Jack Vale, Zach Robinson and Callum Slattery.
