BECKLEY, W.Va. – Day 2 of the Little General Battle for the Armory was full of action at the Raleigh County Convention Center.
The Pepsi and Burger King division champions were crowned, and consolation games were played throughout the day.
Princeton blew out Oak Hill by 14 points in the Pepsi championship in a final of 52-38.
Following the conclusion of the Tigers – Red Devils game, Wyoming East and Charleston Catholic faced off in the Burger King consolation game, in the end, Wyoming East won by an even 10 points, 60-50.
The tournament’s final game included two well-matched squads with Woodrow Wilson hosting Shady Spring.
In a tightly contested, back-and-forth game, the Tigers of Shady Spring eventually pulled out a big 4-point win 56-52 over Beckley to bring home the Burger King title.
