(Gray News)— Former President Jimmy Carter, who redefined post-presidency, died Sunday at the age of 100.

His son, Chip Carter confirmed that the former president died at his home in Plains, according to the Washington Post.

He was the oldest living U.S. president of all time.

Chip confirmed his father’s death but did not provide an immediate cause.
