A frantic search is underway to trace a man missing from Renfrew for three days.
Steven Barnes, 39, was last seen on the town’s Cockles Loan at around 2pm on Thursday, December 26. He has not been seen or heard from since.
Police say they are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare. Steven is described as white and with short grey and white hair.
He is 5ft 2in and of a slim build. When last seen he was wearing a black Canada Goose beanie hat and grey jacket.
Sergeant Sharon Finlay said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Steven’s welfare and are keen to trace him as soon as possible. I would appeal to anyone who has seen him or has any information regarding his whereabouts to contact us. I would also appeal to Steven himself, if you see this appeal, please let us know you are safe.”
