BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX/Gray News) – Police in Mississippi say a husband and wife are both dead and their 19-year-old son is recovering following an apparent murder-suicide.
Biloxi Police received a call regarding a shooting around 6:17 p.m. last Friday. Once on scene, officers found two dead individuals who were identified as 43-year-old Jamie Dejurnett and 46-year-old Antonio Dejurnett. Police say the two were husband and wife, WLOX reports.
Officers also found a third gunshot victim: the couple’s 19-year-old son. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital and was in stable condition.
The investigation is still active, but police believe Antonio Dejurnett shot and killed his wife before shooting his son. He then allegedly took his own life.
