Referee Don Robertson will be the man in the middle for Thursday’s blockbuster clash between Celtic and Rangers

It’s a massive game to kick off 2025 in the Scottish Premiership as Philippe Clement’s side look to start clawing back the the 14 point deficit at the summit with Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic well on course for another title victory. It will be the third time that Robertson has been put in charge of the fixture – having also been the man in the middle for the April 2023 clash on the Scottish Cup semi-final and the Hoops win at Ibrox in September of that year.

The linesman for the clash will be David Roome and Ross MacLeod. Nick Walsh will be in the VAR room assisted by Daniel McFarlane – and all eyes could be on Clydesdale House following the last controversial clash between the Glasgow giants. The off-field team opted against awarding Rangers a late spot-kick in the Premier Sports Cup final.
