Pupils from Armadale’s Academy’s Charity Committee have been busy helping out their community yet again.
Members chose to support people who are struggling to put food on the table by collecting donations for their local foodbank.
They also wanted to spread some Christmas cheer and so chose to help families within the school by making hampers full of food and necessities.
A spokesperson for the committee said: “We know how hard these holiday season can be and we wanted to play our part.
“In Armadale alone the West Lothian Foodbank has helped 100 of our population.
“We carefully created a list of suggested donations adding food that will last am and also a few things to brighten up this month such as selection boxes, chocolate and sweets.
“Everyone deserves to be happy and healthy this time of year and we are so excited to be helping.”
