The hit series The Traitors is making a comeback on the BBC, promising to kick-start the new year with a bang. Fans will need to keep track of various dates and start times to ensure they don’t miss any of the thrilling plot twists.
A fresh batch of Faithfuls and Traitors will be scheming to bag a hefty cash prize when the first episode airs on January 1, on BBC1. For those who lose track of dates during the festive season, that’s a Wednesday, and the show kicks off at 8pm.
However, subsequent episodes will have different start times, although viewers can still catch up on iPlayer shortly after each episode concludes. While the first two episodes commence at 8pm, all following episodes will begin at 9pm.
As per the previous series, episodes will air on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for roughly four weeks across the 12-episode run. Viewers should allow up to 15 minutes for episodes to appear on iPlayer once they’ve finished airing on TV, reports the Mirror.
Claudia Winkleman isn’t the only familiar face returning to host the main show, as comedian Ed Gamble is also reprising his role to present the companion podcast. The Traitors: Uncloaked will be available after each episode of the main show on BBC2 and iPlayer. An extended version featuring additional guests, theories and analysis will also be accessible on BBC Sounds.
