Rebecca Loos has delivered a scathing account of David Beckham in her latest explosive interview regarding their alleged 2004 ‘affair’ which the football icon has consistently denied ever happening.
In a candid conversation with James English on his Anything Goes podcast, the now 47-year-old loosed a fresh torrent of insights into their controversial history without holding back, the Mirror reports.
Speaking to James, Rebecca recounted the increasing pressure from the media: “Journalists were reaching out to me. In the end, I thought, ‘this is probably going to come out, it’s better it comes from me’ and I decided to tell my story. And I naively thought people would appreciate somebody being honest and telling the truth. But people don’t. They want to believe the fairytale.”
To this, James responded understandably with: “You’ve got to get the ‘gold-digger, home-wrecker,’ and that’s understandable’ only for Rebecca to admit she had underestimated the backlash that would follow: “I knew it was going to be big, I didn’t realise I’d get as much hatred as I got back then.”
James further probed whether a straightforward admission from Beckham might have deterred her from making their private matters public, asking: “Do you think if he was upfront and said, ‘look, this is a little fling, blah blah blah’ do you think you’d have ever come to the forefront with your story? Or do you think you did it because you were hurt as well? “
“I was hurt” Rebecca replied as James pressed on, questioning: Did you think, f*** you? ” To which Rebecca’s response was: “Me going public was a ‘f*** you mate’,” further elaborating, “For treating me like that. Big time. It was. I don’t care how powerful you are, how much money you have. It’s not OK.”

Rebecca Loos, once David Beckham’s personal assistant, found herself back in the limelight as the Beckhams’ 2023 Netflix documentary aired, delving into the heart of their tumultuous period. The alleged afair between Rebecca and David is claimed to have occurred in 2003, a time when David signed with Real Madrid and Victoria remained in England.
Although David has consistently denied the allegations, they were a focal point in last year’s Netflix series “Beckham,” where the football icon opened up about his life.
In a bombshell interview with Sky in 2004, Rebecca described David as an ‘amazing lover’ and said they ‘couldn’t keep their hands off each other,’ sending shockwaves through the Beckham household.
She recounted: “We were just locked into each other all night conversation-wise, other people noticed… we just connected. I think the chemistry between David and I was so strong… people were aware and they weren’t very happy. He knows how to please.
“He’s not afraid of a woman’s body. He seems to know what he’s doing,” during her chat with Kay Burley. Despite the uproar, David branded the rumours as “ludicrous” and has always refuted them.
In response to the initial claims, David, then aged 28, issued a statement: “During the past few months I have become accustomed to reading more and more ludicrous stories about my private life. The simple truth is that I am very happily married. I have a wonderful wife and two very special kids. There is nothing any third party can do to change these facts.”
